Good day Everybody

Please find the entry list in numerical order for the 2008 RFS Bike Econorun. If your name appears on this list your entry was accepted. Please check your details and if not correct or incomplete please contact us to rectify it.

Thank you to all of you that attended the documentation today, I think the Sunday documentation was a good idea , everything went smoothly, without queuing and there was a very relaxed atmosphere all round. a special thanks to the guys that travelled from Nelspruit and Lydenburg to attend.

Please note the following:

• There is a change to the route schedule, Day Two after the refuel on page 5 of 7, please amend the start time from 02:05:00 to 02:35:00 and add 30 minutes to all the following times to the end. We are extending the refuel time with 30 minutes.
• Thanks to RFS everybody received a stopwatch, we would suggest that you run on the stopwatch time from your start time and use another watch with “real time”. In order to calculate your arrival and departure times, add your bike number to the start times daily. Friday 7h30 and Saturday 08h00. eg If your bike number is 25 you will start at 07h55 on Friday and 08h25 on Saturday
• Please be careful where we have marked “speed traps” on the route schedule as we found the cops busy checking in all these places.
• Your luggage will be collected at the Start on Friday morning and delivered to the finish at the Hotel Numbi.
• If you are involved in any accident the next competitor must stop and inform the organisers on the telephone numbers provided. These numbers will be given to you on a self adhesive sticker that you should display on a prominent place on your bike please. Any lost time will be compensated for, do not try to make up lost time by exceeding the speed limits.
• Please do your best to report at forever Resort Loskopdam before sunset on Thursday as we would not like you to travel after dark on the roads leading to Loskop. We also advise you to travel via Middelburg and to follow the road to Groblersdal NOT Roosenekal.. On arrival you will receive your meal tickets and room allocation. Dinner will be from 07h00 and the drivers briefing will take place at the Restaurant at 20h00.
